One of the most common requests I get here at G4Ed is for more game reviews. The problem that raises is how. Who is going to review the games? Karen is doing a fantastic job, but she can only do one a month. I'd love to have teachers send in game reviews ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ), but since those haven't been rolling in, where else can we turn? We can't ask game companies to review their own games. That would be crazy. Who's left? Retailers. Retailers both need the publicity and have a vested interest in reviewing games that they think will work. I know, I know. We're all a little suspicious of retailers. The truth of the matter, though, is that they love games just as much as the rest of us, and they would love to see them used in education just as much as we would. So let's hear what they have to say!
Make sure you let me know the name of your store, as well as its web site. We'll put those at the bottom of the article. Every retailer review will be clearly labeled as such, so that readers will know the source of what they're reading. |
